Also, I had the worst job interview in the world today. Well, 8 of us in the room, they made us go through the stuff, they picked me for the next stage of interviews BUT NOONE TOLD ME IT WASN'T A TEMP JOB so I told them truthfully what I was up to BECAUSE I WAS TOLD IT WAS A TEMP JOB and then they literally kicked me out of the door, as in, bag dropped they picked it up and shoved it at me. So I told them they were horrifically rude, who did they think they were and slammed the door and left.

I was talking to my nan about the fact that if I get housing benefit it won't cover my rent and because I'm under 25 all the benefits pretty much suck. Also, the fact that there were bugger all jobs going that I could find.

So, we were talking about it and realised that all I have to do was break even for a month or two (or three, depending on people's opinions) and then I can just bugger off travelling. She says don't worry how cold it is, just get a warm coat and enjoy myself.

Anyway, so, this is my question, who, that lives in north america, would let me stay on their sofa/floor for a little bit this Feb/March/April/May? And how many days?

Also, I'm asking if anyone has any awesome things or places I should try and see? Any ideas?

I'm rather excited...

Went to sign on today, apparently I'm the first person they've seen for months who turned up with everything they needed.

...it really wasn't that hard to turn up with everything, christ. Although apparently me bringing the last 2 years payslips was overkill, huh.

Got two jobs to apply for, except the guy didn't give me half the details so the covering letters are going to be a bit...sparse?

Ah well. Mel's birthday in a couple of hours. I SHALL TELL YOU ALL HOW THE CAKE GOES DOWN.

So, fingers crossed it looks like I've got my first job interview for Wednesday. I think this is one of those mostly for the experience, but we'll have to wait and see.

Downside: I think I've some how really hurt my wrist. And my hands have been feeling really really weak recently :(:( this doesn't feel like a good thing.
